Last week, I finally took the plunge and upgraded to Quantum.
NoScript has been updated to run on the new FF, as has Video DownloadHelper.
They work slightly differently that they used to, but it took me no time to get used to the changes.
These are the Addons I am currently using:

Looking for alternatives. Currently using Opera but I am really disappointed. Comodo Ice Dragon is the best alternative so far since it is based on Firefox but in the old format.

As with most thing tech, it was a bit annoying to get used to, but I have adjusted and have learned to deal with its quirks. Now it is just another browser. I don't have any complex needs out of my computer use, so it hasn't caused any issues.

Now to dl youtube I can copy Youtube video url in jDownloader, but the trick only works for some sites. Flashgot worked everytime.
I also want DownThemAll back, but it seems that won't happen
What pisses me off even more is that I have 4 different browser thanks to the windows goodfellas.
I use FF and Chrome. Windows gives me Explorer and Edge for some reason
The only reason I don't install Linux is the shitty audio I get from my notebook when I run it (tried a couple of times from USB stick)

You can still install firefox 52 ESR, which is still supported, I have 52ESR and 57 both running on a linux machine without any problems. Search for Firefox ESR and install from the mozilla site
